‘I’m gonna take this’: How a coffee shop owner is turning her coffee business into a brand identity

A coffee shop owners husband has opened his first coffee shop and says he plans to make his dream a reality.

In the video below, co-owner of The Coffee House, Michael Coughlan, shares his story and his vision for the coffee business.

“I am not trying to sell coffee to a customer, I’m just trying to give them something to do, something to say to me.

That’s why I decided to start this company,” said Michael Caughlan.

Michael Coughlin opened his coffee shop in the early morning hours of Tuesday, October 19, 2016 in an abandoned building in downtown Denver.

“You can do anything you want in your business.

It is a dream come true, and I’m not even trying to make money, I just want to help people,” said Coughlans wife, Michelle Coughlyn.

Coughlan and his wife have been in business since 2014 and have opened their second location in Denver just a few months ago.

They have already had a couple customers come in.

“It’s been a crazy week for us.

We’ve been overwhelmed, we’ve been really humbled by the outpouring of support,” said Michelle Caughlyn.

In fact, the couple has been inundated with requests for coffee from all over the world.

“We had two customers come from Australia, one came from Russia, one from Canada,” said Mrs Coughlen.

“And I mean it’s been an amazing response, people have come in from as far as China, from all around the world,” she said.

“Everybody is so happy for us, I can’t even count how many emails we have got.”

Coughlin is the son of an English teacher who grew up in the same town as his father and was raised by his mother.

He has always been drawn to the coffee and says it has a lot to do with his upbringing.

“There’s a lot of different things that go into it, so I guess you can say coffee has to do that,” said Mr Coughling.

He started his business in 2014 with the aim of selling his coffee to local cafes.

“I really believe in it and believe in my product.

I think that people will be impressed by it, and they will think it’s great,” he said.

Coffee House was a big hit with customers.

“We’ve had customers come by and tell us, ‘I want to buy coffee, I want to try it, I really like it,'” said Michelle.

The couple have had a handful of customers now and are excited about the potential customers will come back to their cafe.

“Our cafe has just opened and we’re very happy with the customers that have come through our door, and we’ll keep doing that,” he added.

“The coffee that we are selling now, we’re going to have to get better at because we are just a couple of guys who just love coffee,” said Ms Coughlynn.
