The best coffee crop to grow on is the coffee cherry, said author and founder of the blog Ketogenic Crop, Kim Kelly.
She points out that while you can grow your own coffee beans from seed, you’ll need to pay a premium for a premium crop, and that the best ones are not always the ones you’ll find on the shelf.

“If you’re just getting started, it might be worth a shot, but if you’re in a hurry and have a family to feed and your family has a little extra money to spend, it’s probably not worth it,” Kelly said.
She suggests starting with a small cup of coffee with a mix of coffee and black coffee, and then gradually increasing the amount of coffee you consume.
“Try to go from 3 cups of coffee a day, to about 4-6 cups a day and keep increasing it as you go along,” she said.
If you prefer, you can start with less coffee and then increase it over time.
“Then it really depends on how your body reacts to it,” she added.
“It can help a lot, but it’s not going to be as good as a higher dose, so you’ll want to experiment a little.”
Kelly’s best advice is to start with the cheapest coffee available and gradually increase the amount you consume, so that you have the right balance between quality and quantity.
“You want to be doing this for as long as possible, not only to see how much you can consume but to see if it’s affecting your body in a good way,” she advised.
“Also, if you have to stop, do not just stop eating and stop doing the things you’re doing.
Eat as much as you can and don’t stop doing things that are actually good for you.”
Kelly said there’s no reason why you shouldn’t try different coffee types to see what works for you.
“There’s a wide range of coffee varieties out there, and there’s not really a coffee to suit everybody,” she explained.
“For example, I’m an Irish coffee drinker and I’m not a coffee drinkor at all, but I love coffee.
I don’t eat much milk, so if I’m going to try to increase the quality of my coffee, I would like to make it a bit more robust.”
