Starbucks has opened a second location in Georgia, a move that could add to the company’s growing list of locations in the state.
The coffee giant has opened two new locations in metro Atlanta, the company announced Wednesday.
In Atlanta, Starbucks announced it would open its first coffee shop in the city, called the Starbucks Atlanta Coffee Shop.
It will be located in the former Fulton Market building.
Starbucks will offer its coffee at no cost, as well as offer a variety of food and drink options.
“We’re excited to offer our guests the opportunity to choose from a variety and variety of delicious offerings at our new Atlanta location,” said Amy DeSantis, Starbucks Atlanta Operations Manager.
They can also enjoy coffee at home with a Starbucks gift card.
With its Georgia location, Starbucks is joining forces with two other local chains, Chipotle and Wendy’s, in expanding the chain’s footprint.
Chipotle is opening a new location in the Atlanta suburb of Marietta.
Wendy’s will open its new Atlanta store in a former McDonalds location in a nearby shopping center.
A few weeks ago, McDonald’s announced that it was opening a third Atlanta location.
Earlier this year, Starbucks said it would expand into Texas.
